Whale and dolphin watching from Puerto de la Cruz
During this activity you will be able to see and get to know the marine fauna of Tenerife up close in their natural habitat. It is a great and very rewarding experience. Our boats are safe for the environment and the cetaceans.
We have captains with long experience offering this service. They know very well the bay of Tenerife and the best places for whale watching.
As we all know, Tenerife is one of the best places in the world to see whales, dolphins and other cetaceans. We can’t guarantee that you will see many marine animals but we do know that there is a good chance of seeing them. The waters between Tenerife and the island of La Gomera concentrate different species of cetaceans all year round.
We invite you to observe them with respect and admire their beauty. You can take photographs, record videos and simply enjoy the moment. What you can’t do is swim with the dolphins and other animals, you can’t throw rubbish into the water and make loud noises that may scare them.
Take your partner for a romantic outing, blessed by the sea and the joy of the cetaceans near the boat. It is also a great opportunity to surprise the children, who greatly enjoy this activity.
What can you do during the whale and dolphin watching?
We know that watching these beautiful animals is a fantastic activity in itself, however, you can also enjoy other activities during the boat trips in Puerto de La Cruz. We invite you to book a whale and dolphin watching excursion which will also allow you to:
- Relax on the boat
- Sunbathe in the sun
- Admire the views
- Share with family, friends and partner
- Admire Los Gigantes Cliffs
- Refresh yourself and swim in one of Tenerife’s beaches.
You can book our boat trips with different durations. The longer itineraries include a visit to the Cliffs of Los Gigantes, a majestic natural monument that you can’t miss. These immense walls rise above the coast of Tenerife to an average height of 500 metres. Underwater divers can also swim close to their foundations, which can be seen at depths of up to 30 metres.
Another point of interest not to be missed is the Bay of Masca. This is an iconic little beach in Tenerife. It is located on the cliffs and can only be reached by boat or hiking. There you will find a comfortable natural environment that invites you to relax. If you would like to book a boat trip that includes these points, just write to us on WhatsApp and we will be happy to help you choose the most appropriate activity for you.
